Effective 1 September 2026

This covers the Turf website, the free scan, and the signed-in dashboard. It does not cover the separate early-access waitlist site.

It is written to say plainly what we collect, why, and who else sees it, not to be long for its own sake.

What we collect

If you run the free scan, with no account: the Google Maps listing you paste or search for, the email address you give us to send the result to, and a phone number if you choose to add one. Nearby competitor listings are chosen automatically, by distance, not supplied by you.

If you sign in with Google: your email address, name, and profile photo, exactly as they are set on your Google account. Sign-in happens entirely through Google's own login page. We never see, ask for, or store your Google password.

If you add a client to your dashboard: that client's Google Maps listing, the listings of up to three competitors you name, the day and timezone you want the weekly read sent, and the email address the read goes to, which can be your client's inbox rather than your own.

If you set up brand assets: your agency name, a logo address you provide, an accent colour, a type choice, and a footer line, applied to the digest emails your clients receive.

What we read off Google Maps about a listing: its name, category, address, star rating, review count, photo count, opening hours, and where it ranks for a real search on your behalf, plus the same for competitor listings. This is public information Google already shows to anyone who looks the business up. It is not personal information about you.

What we never ask for

Your Google password, at any point, for any reason.

Payment details. Turf does not yet collect payment online; while that is being built, billing is arranged directly rather than automatically.

How we use it

To run the search and comparison you asked for, and write it up in plain English.

To deliver the result to the email address given.

If you have a dashboard account, to keep last week's numbers on file so this week's read can say honestly what changed, and to know which account a client belongs to.

Who else sees it

Turf is built on a small number of named providers, not a black box of trackers. Each one only sees what it needs to do its one job:

Google: your sign-in, and the Maps and Places data your listings come from.

Apify: runs the search against the listing URLs you give us or that you have added to your dashboard.

Anthropic, via OpenRouter: writes the digest text, from the scraped business facts above only, never your name or email address.

Resend: sends the email.

Google Sheets: where a signed-in account's data is stored. The anonymous free scan never touches this at all.

Each of these providers holds data passing through its own systems under its own separate privacy terms. That is true of any product built on top of other companies' infrastructure, and we chose providers whose practices we were comfortable relying on, not simply the cheapest option.

Cookies

Turf runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind. Signing in sets exactly one cookie, which holds your session so you stay signed in. It carries no tracking payload of its own, and it is the only cookie this site sets.

How long we keep it

Free scan: what you paste is used once, to run that one search and send that one email. It is not added to a mailing list, and your email address is not reused for anything else.

Dashboard clients: kept for as long as the client stays on your register, since last week's numbers being on file is the entire point of the weekly read. Removing a client from your register stops future sends immediately. We cannot and do not delete a digest already sent to your own inbox or your client's, since that inbox is not ours to reach into.

Closing your account: contact us at hello@turf.agentminds.ai and we will remove your account and the data tied to it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@turf.agentminds.ai. We aim to act on that within a reasonable time and will tell you plainly if there is a reason we cannot.

Children

Turf is a business tool. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this changes, the date at the top will change with it, and we will say plainly what changed rather than let it pass quietly.
